Attended a debate on sex-selection abortions today
The “pro-life” speaker consistently referred to a pregnant woman and her attendant fetus as “mother and child” while calling young women/girls/children “females.” Just about what I would expect from people like that.

I’m glad JKR threw in that line in DH about the Invisibility Cloak being especially magic in that it could protect other people, because until that point in my reread, I was thinking the Cloak must be more like an Invisibility TARP, what with it covering up, like, sixteen people and a goblin and three house elves at a time. JKR HAVE YOU EVER EVEN SEEN A CLOAK I AM ASKING YOU.
