Haha, sorry about the ask button— I read much more often than I post. I think I met your TA a few times back in the day and we have some mutual friends, but I know his type much more. And I just really, really know the feeling of feeling like you had an intense connection with some fratty guy even though he never quite gets around to asking you out despite constant flirting by text and such, and I just thought I’d share my experience. It is EXCRUCIATINGLY humiliating to think back to him after a few years and realize what a fool you were, and the only saving grace is that he never knew. Guys like that are common and I think it’s really easy to get dazed from the attention from an older, popular guy.  It wears off, trust me. Even though it doesn’t feel that way.
